The City of
Independence Administration, Mayor Reimal, Developer William
Kidwell, Kidwell Engineers and his hired contractors find it
perfectly fine to build a so called road as they wish and
DEVALUE AND DAMAGE other citizens property. Apparently the
Kidwell Engineering Group and City of Independence Engineers
have no idea what they are doing. The city has left Scott,
Hewitt & Mize remaining property after the eminent domain
land grab for William Kidwell with a deep pond anytime we
have excessive rain. This is the second time this kind of
flooding has happened in less then 2 years. Mr. Kidwell
stated at a City of Independence Planning meeting that he
would take care of our flooding problems. Mr. Kidwell did
nothing. The Little Blue River was well within its banks by
several feet when these videos were shot. These videos will
show what happened to our property. These kinds of damages
were not allowed into our March 26th, 2007 eminent domain
trial so we were able to find a way to settle out of court
for the taking of the 1.13 acres of property ONLY! Judge
Steve Nixon explained that these kinds of damages would need
to brought forward in a future trial. WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF
SOMEONE DID THIS TO YOUR TWO ACRES OF COMMERCIAL PROPERTY?
